I'm an uncle - again!
Congrats to Geoje-JongMyeong, my wife's brother, and his wife on their currently-nameless 3.1 kilo baby boy, born about a month early but healthy and with a lot of hair.

Introduction
Hi, I'm Kwandongbrian (& surprises aplenty).
I moved from Gangwon province in January 2010. I still add content here occasionally but my main blog is now:
surprisesaplenty
at wordpress.
After five years, this blog seems to be about Korea, Gangwondo, Human powered travel, the environment, my son and ESL. Oh, and me.
Enjoy.

If I had a soul, it would be filling with terror!
The Indiana Jones Quadrology is overrated!!!
What's with this movie, Taken?
Sleep or use your phone in class, join the gallery
The Hominid has landed!
I'm an uncle - again!
Crappy beach weather
Gangwondon't?
Summer travel suggestion
How did I not think of this?
Korea's Edison
What does your tongue actually do when you speak?
Who knew? Hagwon owners want to block unqualified...
The bridge to somewhere
Cut off in traffic
They could've hosted the Olympics
Sleep in class, join the gallery
Teachers work hard, remember them this Teacher's Day
Does Buddhism get a free pass?
The things I do to entertain my son.
A different yellow dust
My work and family life combining terribly!
Another trip to Seoul...
