The pettiness of Kwandongbrian

I've written before about how annoyed I get when people park in the 'no-parking' zone. It's a small thing but it bothers me. The four signs are normally in a row along the curb but I dragged them around the Korando.
The good news is, I restrained myself from tying them to the front and back bumpers. That may be my next trick.

Ha!! That's great.

I like your 'style', as they say...

Thanks Mel (Although if I put 'style' in quotes, it would be to indicate sarcasm).

Sorry for not replying to a previous comment you left - I don't know if the jellyfish pictured are edible.

That's classic.

I like it when they stop the car in the middle of the intersection, throw on the automatic brake, and walk--not run--into to get a package of smokes.

Speaking of smokes, did you see the waves today. I heard they were smoking, literally?

He, he, It's easy to criticize when you don't have a car . . . try driving around Korea for a month or two and you'd be surprised how quickly one can adjust to the local customs . . :| (I've got the brand new bumper to prove it!)

On an unrelated note, Brian--I've got the scoop on a local restaurant that serves a legendary but almost unknown Korean dish - 토령탕 - "Earth Dragon Stew" I think I would be remiss not to try it, at least for the sake of my blog, but my wife refuses to go with me. Would you be intrested in helping me investigate? My treat, of course.
(I promise not to sing "Nobody likes me" too loudly!)

Rick,
I only saw the waves from the window of a bus. I know that in the previous storm, the tops of the waves were blown off, filling the air with mist. Yesterday's waves were chocolate brown, with breakers far out to sea. It was pretty misty but I didn't really have a clear view (a clear view of mist- is that an oxymoron).
There appeared to be a boat crashed against shore. I may get off at that busstop this morning and have a look before work.

Norlan, I know I'm hard on the driving habits here. One reason I don't have a car is the trouble in parking it.
Things I do like about driving here: (1)the 'paddles' on the divider on the highways. You have almost unobstructed view sideways but cars headlights are completely blocked.
(2) When they remember to turn the lights back on, I like crossing the street and not being blinded by the stopped car's headlights.

I'm willing to try 'earth dragon stew' - is the 'nobody likes me' a reference to earthworms? Ah, I'll still try it. I'll be away this weekend - can't remember why ;) -so perhaps next week or later.

Good job Brian...I guess that's a better alternative than what I was thinking of doing which was to spray paint "NO PARKING" on the windshield...

Brian, you've got the main ingredient right. :} I'll tell you the story behind the dish later . . .
