I've seen many -not this many at one time, mind - at Sokcho beach and brushed against a few with no ill-effects. I would be more afraid of the Cheongcho water in general.

I wonder if those are the kinds of jellyfish that people eat?For my first few years in Korea I thought I was eating cold noodles with mayo at all those buffet restaurants. Nope, nope. :)
